Support
Email support@memoir.events. Tell us the event name and the phone number on your account — that is usually enough to find you without a back and forth.
You're at the door and your ticket won't scan
Open the ticket in the app rather than a screenshot. The QR code changes every 30 seconds, so a saved image or a photo of someone else's screen will not scan — this is deliberate, and it is what stops a ticket being passed around.
If the code is on screen and still fails, the organizer can admit you from the guest list. Ask them to look you up by the phone number you signed up with.
You can't sign in
Memoir signs you in with a code sent by text, so the number must be the one you signed up with. If the code does not arrive, check that your phone has signal, and look in your blocked or filtered messages.
If you've changed your phone number, choose Changed your phone number? on the sign-in screen and enter the email you confirmed on your account. We email you a code, then text one to your new number, and your account moves to it.
If you never confirmed an email, or can't reach it any more, email support@memoir.events from somewhere we can reach you and say which event you are trying to get into.
You were invited but don't see the event
Invitations are matched to the phone number the organizer entered. If they typed a different number from the one you signed up with, the event will not appear. Ask the organizer which number they used, and either sign in with that one or have them add the number you use.
Refunds and cancellations
The organizer sets the refund policy for their event and issues refunds, so ask them first. Payments run through Stripe and are returned to the card that paid.
If an organizer is unreachable, email support@memoir.events with the event name and roughly when you bought.
Organizing an event
Questions about publishing, guest lists, check-in or payouts go to the same address. Say which event, and whether people are already holding tickets — that changes what can safely be altered.
Your data, and deleting your account
You can delete your account from Profile → Settings → Delete account, in the app or on the web. It removes your account and what it holds. How deleting your account works has the steps without the app, what to do if you can't sign in, and what goes and what stays.
What we collect and why is in the privacy policy, and the rules for using Memoir are in the terms. For anything about the company itself, see about.
Reporting a message, a post or a person
Open the ··· beside it (in the app, press and hold a message) and choose Report. You can report messages, Memories, Lost & Found posts, events, Event Art and host pages, and block anyone so you stop seeing what they post. We review every report within 24 hours.
Reporting something urgent
For safety concerns at an event, contact the venue or local emergency services first — they can act, and we cannot. Then tell us at support@memoir.events so we can act on the account involved.
