About Memoir Events, LLC

What we do

Memoir Events, LLC operates Memoir, an event ticketing platform. Event organizers use Memoir to publish an event, sell or give away admission, and manage entry at the door. Attendees use it to buy or claim their ticket, get in, and keep what happened afterwards.

Alongside admission, a Memoir ticket carries Event Art, a group chat for everyone going, a shared Memories hub for the photos and video taken that night, and a Lost & Found. Organizers can run events publicly or by invitation only.

How we make money

Memoir earns a fee on each paid ticket sold: $1 on a ticket of $30 or less, $2 up to $60, $3 under $120, and $4 from $120. Buyers pay it as part of a service fee that also covers Stripe's card processing; every price Memoir shows includes it, and its amount is shown before paying. Organizers receive the full ticket price.

Events with free admission carry no fee at all. Creating an event, publishing it and inviting guests are free regardless of event size.

Card payments are processed by Stripe. Ticket revenue is paid out to the event organizer through Stripe Connect, straight to the organizer's own Stripe account; Memoir collects only its fee from each paid ticket.
